"Was that a gunshot?"

"No way."

"I'm sure it was a gunshot."

"It was just a firecracker."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Guns don't sound like that. They're more of a pop. That was a boom."

"Sounded like a gun to me."

"Well it wasn't."

[Pause]

"How about that?"

"Oh, that was definitely a gun."
